Comic Book Printing Step 2. Choose a Binding Style
Saddle-Stitched Binding
Allows for 8–64 pages plus cover. Saddle-Stitched Binding allows your book to lay flat when open, perfect for large scenes that span a double-page spread (no lost artwork in the gutter).
Perfect Binding
Bound with 40–320 pages plus cover. Perfect Binding allows you to add another dimension to your work by printing on the spine (90-page minimum).
Comic Book Printing Step 3: Choose Full-Color Or Black and White
Covers Include FREE Full-Color Printing
Deliver maximum impact and make your artwork pop with full-color covers. All covers include FREE full-color printing inside and out, and are printed with full bleed, allowing your artwork to fill the cover edge-to-edge.
Interior Pages
Full-Color Pages
Bring your art into another dimension when you print in full color. Our full-color pages print in CMYK inks, the industry standard for full-color reproduction. A full bleed takes your artwork all the way to the edges of the pages.
Black & White Pages
Highlight bold focal points and create stark contrast when you print in black & white. This detail-oriented scheme brings deep dimension to your work and is a more economical choice. Full bleed is available, allowing artwork to go to each edge.
Comic Book Printing Step 4: Choose Options
Cover Paper Choices
Saddle-Stitched Cover Options
Saddle-Stitched covers are printed on 80 lb. gloss paper, or choose premium 80 lb. matte paper for an extra charge.
Perfect-Bound Cover Options
Perfect-Bound covers are printed on 10 pt. cover stock and allow for printing on the spine (90-page minimum). FREE UV coating is included. Gloss lamination or our premium matte lamination are available for added durabilty, and stain- and scuff-resistance (extra charges apply).
Interior Page Paper Choices
60 lb. Uncoated Paper
Our 60 lb. uncoated paper is standard for both black & white and full-color printing for all formats.
80 lb. Gloss Paper
Take the color and presentation of your pages to the next level with 80 lb. gloss paper. This option is available with full-color printing.
